Earlier, I showed you the Memory Indicator and how, when nothing is

in memory, it reads 100%? It now reads 99%, reflecting the space

taken by the scanned document. Let’s delete that file and return the

Memory Indicator to 100%.

Any document you store in memory, whether for a Send Later

operation, Auto Document or Batch Transmission can easily be

deleted…

1. Press: Job Information.

2. Press: OK.

3. Press: or to display file you wish to cancel.

4. Press: OK. Confirm by pressing OK again.

You also mentioned a need to fax long-distance. Why not send mes-

sages after-hours when the phone rates are lower? It’s surprisingly

straightforward. First, place the original face up on the ADF, then..

1. Press: Trans. Option. [Send Later]

2. Press: OK. Press or to select “ON.”

3. Press: OK twice.

4. Press: or to select “AM” or “PM” and press OK.

5. Enter: Time (via 10-keypad).

6. Press: OK.

7. Enter: Fax number (via Quick/Speed/manual dial)

8. Press: Start.

The document is scanned into memory where it is held until the

designated time. By delaying a fax, you not only utilize one of the

many convenience capabilities of the Gestetner F104 Series, you

can lower your operating costs.

ACTION: Send Later
