Let’s take a look at the consumables. I’ll open the front cover by

pulling each side of the front panel. To remove the Toner Cartridge,

pinch the two green levers together and gently pull the cartridge

out.

The Toner Cartridge yields approximately 5,000 pages, based on 4%

page density, a substantial yield that will mean fewer work interrup-

tions to replace toner. The Photoconductor Unit (PCU) is installed

to the right of the Toner Cartridge and has a yield of 45,000 pages,

which is also user replaceable.

By utilizing separate Toner Cartridge and OPC, you lower your cost-

per-page because a higher yield OPC is able to be used and is

replaced separately.

To replace the cartridge, I’ll push in and slide it back in place. You

can see that accessing and replacing the toner is a simple and

clean process.

To close the cover, you just lift up until it locks in place.
