Shift
Moves (shifts) the copy image up,
down, left, or right to create a margin.
Preparation
You can select the following types
of margin for this function.
[
] key (Top): Shifts the image
towards the leading edge of the
original (top of the copy.)
[
] key (Bottom): Shifts the im-
age towards the trailing edge of
the original (bottom of the
copy.)
[
] key (Left): Shifts the image
towards the left of the original.
[
] key (Right): Shifts the im-
age towards the right of the
original.
You can shift the image from 0 to
200mm in 1mm steps (0 to 7.8" in
0.1" steps).
The default setting is 20mm, 2.0".
You can change this setting. See
p.133 Shift Image Area Priority
You can also shift the image in a
combination of up/down and left/
right.
Limitation
When using the print and shift set-
tings, the print position is moved
in the direction of the shift setting.
You can use the Shift function for
copy sizes up to A0 (E).
