Area Editing

(Only for Edit Type)

How to Edit Areas

Editing an image involves scanning it in to memory, choosing areas to edit and how those areas will be re-

produced.

The basic steps are summarized below. Details are given in the rest of this section.

 Enter Area Editing mode.

❐ Press the [Area Editing] key.

 Designate areas.

 Select modes.

❐☛ See page 152.

 Specify more areas to be treated differently (optional).

❐ Repeat 3 and 4.

 Copy image.

❐ Press the Start key.
